Keith and Maggie Mason

We have been happily married for 22 years and continue to find fun and laughter in every day. We have four wonderful children; Matthia(30) Kaleigh(29) Zack(25) and Serena(18) and a 6 year old granddaughter.

Mrs Maggie

Since High School, my passion has been working with children. Through the years I have taught private Kindergarten, third grade and preschool. I have also had positions in restaurant management, child care management and preschool curriculum specialist. We opened Maggie's Happy Hearts Preschool and Child Care, when our youngest daughter, Serena, was 4 months old. My teaching position at the time, discontinued child care as a benefit and that was the motivation I needed to start my own preschool. I work hard to make sure our school delivers the highest quality care and education for our students and families. I am currently working on becoming a Master Trainer for child care providers and writing a book on parenting.

Mr Keith

Mr Keith has worked as a radio producer for the Mark and Dave show, a US Postal carrier and a restaurant manager before settling in as a teacher and co-owner of Maggie's HH Preschool and Child Care. He is a born entertainer and a big kid himself; the children love the silliness and whimsy he adds to our program! In addition to being our handyman and chef, Mr Keith teaches the children gross motor and science lessons. In his free time, Keith loves video games, sudoku, crossword puzzles, standup comedy and sports.

Ms. Kimmy

Miss Kimmy is Miss Maggie’s sister. They both grew up in the Happy Hearts home, playing and learning at their mom’s daycare. Kim graduated with a degree in Communications from Oregon State University and started a career at Cellular One who sold to AT&T Wireless. She worked at AT&T in customer service, sales, management and then her dream job of training new employees, managers and other trainers. After 25 years she retired early to care for her and Miss Maggie’s parents who both had chronic illnesses. She brings her training and caregiver experience to our team, not to mention her LOVE for kids. She has 5 grandkids under the age of 7.

Ms. Serena

Serena, is our 18 year old daughter. She helps us from time to time, so you may see her around. She will be attending PSU in the fall 2022, majoring in Voice Performance and Theater. She was raised in a child care and has been a staff member at many theater and music camps for children.
